This week was really interesting .

Monday
We went to Mandai Training Village (MTV) for our rescue training . The place .. was .. in ruins . used to be an old army camp but now CD bought over it and it become a training ground . We have trees growing on the ceiling of the rooms lol ! then the floor was full of dust and broken glasses . feels so shiok to step on them lol . Anyway, we learned how to transport the casualty up and down the storeys as well as pitching the ladder . Hell yeah it reminds me of The Twin Towers when we pitched the ladders hahaha .

Basically we ran around the construction shed with the ladders . Unfortunately the ladder slammed into my arm while doing that . Okay, after that there was a competition between our 2 sections . Wadhever we learned in the morning, apply it for the final challenge . there was a lot rednecks all around shouting . messy uhh . but it was fun seeing us working and sweating together .

Tuesday
We had Rescue Equipment Proficieny Test (REPT) . I hadn't learned all the equipment yet cos i was on light duty the other day . There was 2 stations i only like; Acene Oxytelene (flamethrower; cutting tool) and Power Saw . The flamethrower very style le cos it's like the cite Alien - used the tool to slice open the door hehe . as for the power saw, i just like it =P .

Afterwhich, we had SOC in the late afternoon . But it later rained so we had to move into the basketbal court for our lesson . We did PT in the end with our SOC attire and i hate jumping jack/power leg combo -.-

Wednesday
Welcome to ERS Olympics 2008 ! For our first BTM, we had 20m Men's Pull Hose ! Ask your buddy to step on 1 end of the hose and u run with the other . and you better shout !

Second event ! 40m Men's Hose ! u carry 1 x 64mm hose 3 times ! then u carry 2 x 64mm hose ! don't forget to shout too ! x)

Last event ! 20m men's Throw Hose ! this is pretty cool IF you throw the hose properly ! of cos, u'll need to makeup the hose after use :) repeat this 4 times !!

After lunch was quite relek - we learn about flake hoses in the Red Rhino (LFAV - Light Fire Attack Vehicle) and also wrenching . it was quite okay . Only the weather's terrible .

Evening time ! We joined Rota2 behind cos they're playing water . I thought wadh they doing seh . Encik setup the 38mm and 64mm hose and ask us to try . I tried the 38mm hose . VERY COOL SIA! but the pressure 3bars only . By right should be 7bar . Max 15bar o.0 ! The nozzle got 2 modes - mist and direct . the mist radius was very big and i think can make water shield with it . shiok ah sia main air !

Thursday
Morning wake up with an aching body but somehow dunno why i feel so energetic . Today we were doing Ground Monitor and the breeching . Basically its like Pipe Dreams lah; if u had played the game before . hahhaa . Wayang mau lebih ! Encik tgk pon up sikit . but its fun when u can simulate the exercise .

Today was more on offensive fire fighting ..
Abrasion kills .

Friday
Another day of BTM; that makes it 3 days in a row . morning had SOC - another accident to my palm while doing the monkey bar . We had to do all the stations in the SOC . fun but tiring .

BTM, I in no mood to do exercise - urat malas ah agaknye . but luckily i see Encik pun stand down so we no need to do . Just standby watch and help makeup .

After sembahyang, only had a career talk . alot people wanna sign-on seh . cos they're lacking in sec cmdr . i dont know ah . i haven't thought of it yet . fire badge bayang2 pun tkde .. btm baru tige hari . I think i'll give myself some time to think about it .
